What Better Time for a Scary Movie?

October 26th, 2009

The answer, in short, is none. Besides, we’re not talking about just any “scary movie,” but “The Scary Movie” by the Brody Theater. The Brody Theater is one of Portland’s best improv theater groups and this week, in honor of the season, they are featuring “The Scary Movie.” Monsters, ghosts, serial killers, mummies, vampires, malfunctioning flashlights, damsels in distress, hapless heroes, and much much more. No horror movie cliche will go unrepresented. Remember… this is improv, so every night promises to be a completely different “scary movie.” Let’s just see your local movie house try to beat that! Besides, you’ll also get to see one of our Resident Experts, Brad Fortier, in action! (Um… he’s the one in the actor photo wearing the see-through mesh shirt and the devil horns… needless to say, not his usual tour ensemble.)

Show are 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information visit the Brody Theater Homepage.
