Tuesday’s Ship Parade treats other Portlanders to a view

December 18th, 2012

The ship parade routes get changed up again tonight to give some of the other folks a chance to see the beautiful tall ships.

At 7:00PM, the Columbia fleet assembles in front of the James M. Gleason Boat Ramp (NE 43rd/Marine Drive) and heads uprivehttps://portlandwalkingtours.com/news/wp-admin/post-new.phpr – east – to the I-205 Bridge, and will turn back at about SE 164th Ave on the Washington side. Fischer’s Landing folks in Vancouver should get a nice view of the ships then. The ships return along the same path and should provide great viewing from Evergreen Drive, as well as from the back decks of Joe’s Crab Shack and Who Song and Larry’s.

The Williamette Fleet treats those who live between OMSI and the Fremont Bridge areas. At 7:00PM, the Willamette Fleet assembles in front of Riverplace Marina and travels downriver (north) to area of the Fremont Bridge.  The fleet will go under the bridge and then turns to return to Riverplace Marina around 9:00 PM.
